About Digital Music

The Introduction to Digital Music class is designed as an overview of the opportunities available at LVCP. Students will receive basic instruction on how to use the Computer lab and its equipment to create and modify audio products. Some of the highlight lessons of the course include: the physics behind sound, the physical parts of a mixer and how to connect them, how to record and edit using software, how to use a microphone effectively, keyboard skills, and how to sequence music using software and samples.

The Advance Digital Music Class extends knowledge and understanding begun in the students first year. Through a series of self directed projects students explore their interests, equipment and career opportunities.

Digital Music is an A-G approved class and focuses on standards based concepts to achieve fine art.
